Andorra Telecom has just launched a new set top box, manufactured by Airties, as an enhanced version to their existing set top boxes, offering improved performances as well as 4K screen compatibility. To accompany their step forward in proposing a better IPTV service to their customers, the operator has decided to also improve the User Interface offered to their customers for their TV experience. Andorra Telecom has thus selected DOTSCREEN, a worldwide leading UI agency to design the best user experience the operator could offer to its IPTV customers.
A feature-rich User Interface
The solution, designed by DOTSCREEN, first provides a complete and competitive UI which grants access to the most relevant features and options IPTV customers want today. The UI offers all TV services a user would expect such as Video On Demand, Electronic Programme Guide with a fast and intuitive navigation, or network Personal Video Recorder (nPVR), allowing viewers to have full personal control on their viewing.
Live TV centric UI
The brand, new TV User Interface developed by DOTSCREEN is also extremely engaging and fluid, letting users navigate from Live services to Replay through EPG, in total fluidity, offering one of the fastest user navigations on the market. Pressing the remote button for a few seconds to navigate upwards or forward within the navigation menu simply takes users to immediately land where they headed, with no loading time at all.
Viewer engagement
The UI also offers users an engaging home portal showcasing all highlights and must-see programs of the day, a portal that DOTSCREEN has also expressly made adjustable according to Andorra Telecom’s needs in terms of sections to show and focus on.
