Paris, France — Okoo, France TV’s brand new Kids zone, is now live within the France TV apps available on all Free and Orange boxes thanks to DOTSCREEN

France Télévisions has comissioned DOTSCREEN to develop their brand new Kids corner, Okoo, now available within their France TV app across all the Free and Orange boxes in France.

This new Okoo kids section offers a whole universe dedicated to children, providing exclusive programs classified per age range.  Children and their parents are able to access the Okoo universe and select from the main page a menu section ranked per age range. Age range menus are organized within three categories to match all children’s interests :  a 3 to 5 year-old category and its dedicated programs; a 6 to 8 year-old one, and a 9 to 12 year-old category.

Just like any other portal dedicated to VOD, this Okoo portal provides recommended content based on kids’ previous watch history or based on trending programs within their age range. The portal also offers exhaustive player features to let kids play, pause, forward, rewind, zap or get information, as they watch their favourite programs.

France TV is a customer we have already worked for“, says Stanislas Leridon, President of Dostcreen. “Working with France TV again for this innovative kids platform was both a privilege and a fun adventure to be part of, bringing innovation collaboratively.

The Okoo universe is available through entering a dedicated Kids mode, leaving the rest of the application protected by a PIN code parents can set up prior to let their children use it.
