Dotscreen partners with RMC+ to launch its new streaming platform across more than 20 TV environments
Paris, September 17, 2026 – Dotscreen, a specialist in multi-screen video application development, announces that it has supported CMA Media in the launch of RMC+, its new streaming platform replacing RMC BFM Play.
RMC+ marks a new milestone in the group’s digital strategy. The platform now brings together, within a single experience, all of CMA Media’s TV channels, digital media brand Brut, 10 FAST channels, and their full range of audiovisual content available on demand.
Following a competitive tender process, Dotscreen was selected by CMA Media to carry out the complete redevelopment of its TV applications, as well as their ongoing maintenance and evolution under a multi-year agreement.
Thanks to close collaboration between the CMA Media and Dotscreen teams, the new platform was developed and rolled out in record time across around 20 TV devices and environments.
RMC+ is now available on all major set-top boxes operated by French telecom providers – Orange, SFR, Free and Bouygues Telecom – as well as on leading connected TV brands, including Samsung, Hisense and LG, and major OTT environments such as Apple TV and Android TV.
This large-scale multi-platform rollout enables RMC+ to offer, from launch, particularly extensive coverage of connected TVs and devices across France.
The project drew on Dotscreen’s expertise in video application design and development, integration across multiple TV environments, and the management of complex multi-device projects.
“We are particularly proud to have been chosen by CMA Media to support the launch of RMC+. Simultaneously rolling out a new streaming experience across around 20 environments within such an ambitious timeframe was a significant challenge. The quality of the collaboration between the RMC and Dotscreen teams was instrumental in making this launch a success,” said Stanislas Leridon and Pascal-Hippolyte Besson, co-founders and executives of Dotscreen.
“The launch of RMC+ is above all a collective achievement, driven by our internal teams and all of our partners. Dotscreen’s expertise proved to be a real accelerator in meeting this major technological and operational challenge, completed in a record 18 months. It enabled us to support changing consumer habits around our brands and expand their availability across a wide range of devices, both on new, modern platforms and within existing environments that can sometimes be particularly constrained. We now have a robust, scalable and fully controlled technology foundation that will enable us to continue developing our streaming platform in the years ahead. This foundation is a key component of our hyperdistribution strategy, designed to keep pace with the major changes in how audiences consume content, both today and in the future,” said Franck Vêtu, Chief Technical Officer of RMC+.
With this new multi-year partnership, Dotscreen further strengthens its position as a technology partner to leading media companies and broadcasters for the development and operation of streaming services across the full range of TV screens and devices.
